Now looking back I can see how helpful this paper wedding booklet I created helped with every detail. I would love to help anyone plan their wedding by offering my design services and experience. The outcome of our working together would be giving you a cohesive wedding look and style along with any extras you would like (logos, invites, luggage tags, etc). This style book is something you could take and send to vendors, wedding coordinators and wedding party members helping you keep everyone in tune with your vision for your perfect wedding.

Paper Weddings
When I started planning my destination wedding to Mark I was really excited, then overwhelmed, then exhausted by the details. That is why I decided to create everything on paper first. It helped me feel like I had a better and clearer vision of what I wanted my wedding to be. It also helped me communicate my wishes to all of my vendors, who were helping from miles and miles away. Creating a paper wedding I think is what made the process of planning so much smoother, it also gave me piece of mind with knowing that everyone was on the same page. It was wonderful when my wedding day came and I saw my ideas come to life in every way.
Color and Look

Since we were having a Caribbean wedding the style I was looking for was beach classy. I wanted all different colors of blue and the fabrics to be soft. We started with colors, a logo and ageneral idea of what the dresses, decorations and feel would be. I created a booklet that had all of these things for me to share with my different vendors.

Extras
For our guests we planned a few extras. One was a planning book including schedule, suggested activities with maps of the island, important numbers and other things. We also sent everyone a CD with some island music hosted by Mark and I as well as luggage tags for the trip.

Location Looks
Flowers

For the flowers I worked with the girls from Flower Duet in LA. They helped me decide between a tall arrangement or a low arrangement and helped me decide the type of flowers that would look best for my tropical wedding.

Photographer
For our wedding photos we worked with Funico Studios. We wanted more candid pictures with a photojournalistic style. We also did a Trash the Dress shoot. I bought a used dress from Ebay so I wouldn't have to ruin my dress.
To help the photographer get a better idea of what Mark and I were looking for I created a sampling of some photographs that I loved separated into categories from active shots, ceremony shots to romantic shots. Funico did an amazing job and you can see below how some of our pictures came out.
Here is the result of planning and two amazing photographers! Thanks Alice and James.
